This NVQ is intended to develop a skilled workforce in a environment. Perhaps producing packaging or non-food related items. Skills covered are shaping, assembling, processing, forming, finishing, joining, moulding and others.

Currently only Level 2 is fully fundable.

Level 2 comprises of 2 mandatory units, 3 supporting units and 1 job specific unit, 6 unit in all. Each unit has a specially written underpining knowledge workbook to help candidates and evidence audit requirements.
