Content
The course is designed for students of all levels. For instance those
with learning difficulties will still be able to complete this course
successfully.
Consisting of 5 individual lessons each taking approximately 30 minutes
to complete*, the course takes 150 minutes in total to complete* with
one multiple choice end test.
The
lessons are:
1. The importance of food safety.
2. Personal hygiene.
3. Safe Cleaning and use of chemicals.
4. Food safety hazards.
5. Temperature control and safe food storage.

Many
job roles require further progression training. The level 2 standard
is ideal for those that have completed level 1 or awareness training.
There are no pre requisites to complete the Food Safety Level 2 in Manufacturing.
Other job roles may require specialist training and at QFT we have had
